Rural Autism ECHO: Strategies for Improving Health Care for Autistic Patients in Rural Georgia
Families in rural communities often have limited access to information about autism, which can make it more challenging to recognize early signs and know how to respond to a child’s unusual behavior. This ECHO will equip physicians with a deeper understanding of autism and learn strategies to help patients and families affected by it. The session will also introduce the use of EarliPoint technology for early autism detection in children.
ECHO will meet virtually on the last Wednesday of every month from noon–1 p.m. Exception: Our November meeting will be on Nov 19, as the last Wednesday of the month falls during Thanksgiving break.
